I spent my younger years attending Primary and Secondary School in Upper Hutt. When aged 12 years, I had a part-time job doing a paper round with my brother. He purchased two Elvis records and I liked them so much, I eventually took both records from him.
From there my fascination with Elvis Presley really grew and every birthday and Xmas, my family would buy an Elvis related present for me. Soon enough my room was adorned with Elvis memorabilia.
I Entered a Stars in your Eyes competition in 1992 in Wellington. The first time I had ever sung at all, and I came third in the heats, which gave me entry into the semi-final. Well after hours of practice infront of the mirror and watching the King in concert on video, I entered the finals and I won that competition.
I entered another Stars in your Eyes competition in March 1993 and won that as well.
In February 1995, I entered the “Search for Australasia’s Best Elvis Impersonator”.
My dreams all came true, I won the competition and was soon on my way to Memphis, Tennessee with my wife Lisa, to see the home of Elvis Presley, Gracelands.
From then, I have been interviewed on all television channels in New Zealand, Australia and once via satellite from Las Vegas.
I have performed at countless concerts around New Zealand and Australia.
My biggest show so far was in Auckland for 400, 000 people!
Now I perform for many private and corporate functions, keeping the memory of the King and his music alive….. FOR EVER ELVIS!!!
